American tourist detained after being caught violating Bali’s most sacred rule on ‘Day of Silence’

American tourist Karl Adolf Amrhein, 57, was detained in Sukawati village, Bali, on 19 March for walking outdoors during Nyepi, the island’s Day of Silence.
