On This Day in 1971: भारतीय क्रिकेट के इतिहास में आज का दिन खास है. अजित वाडेकर (Ajit Wadekar) की कप्तानी में भारत ने आज ही के दिन यानी 24 अगस्त, 1971 को इंग्लैंड में पहला टेस्ट और सीरीज जीती (India's First Test Win in England) थी. तब भारत ने ओवल टेस्ट ( India vs England Oval Test) में इंग्लैंड को 4 विकेट से शिकस्त दी थी. आज इस जीत की गोल्डन जुबली है.
