आईपीएल 2022 (IPL 2022) से पहले दिल्ली कैपिटल्स (Delhi capitals) को पूर्व भारतीय दिग्गज के रूप में नया असिस्टेंट कोच मिल गया है. भारत और श्रीलंका के बीच होने वाली टी20 और टेस्ट सीरीज के बाद यह दिग्गज टीम से जुड़ जाएगा. आईपीएल में आखिरी बार यह दिग्गज दिल्ली डेयरडेविल्स (अब दिल्ली कैपिटल्स) की तरफ से 2011 से 2013 के बीच खेला था. टीम के असिस्टेंट कोच के अलावा यह दिग्गज हेड कोच रिकी पोंटिंग और कप्तान ऋषभ पंत के साथ लीडरशिप ग्रुप का भी हिस्सा होगा.
