The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Sunday announced the annual player contracts for the period of 2022-23. The players have been placed under categories -- A+, A, B and C. India captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja were placed in the top category (A+), and will earn Rs 7 crore annually. Meanwhile, all-rounder Hardik Pandya, Ravichandran Ashwin, Rishabh Pant, Mohammad Shami and Axar Patel will earn Rs 5 crore annually, after having been placed in the A category.
