Florida's millions of dumped tyres are still being cleaned up 50 years later

Florida is set to embark on an ambitious initiative to clear millions of old tires that were dumped offshore decades ago. Initially forming an artificial reef, these tires have since led to significant damage to natural coral ecosystems. Present surveys indicate that over half a million tires still litter thousands of acres.
